SS FLANGES BS 1560 (ANSI B16.5) CLASS -150#, 300#, 600#
Flanges are used on pipes to help personnel clean, adjust, or operate the system. Each round flange has certain requirements. Valves or pipe ends can be capped or cut off using BS 1560 blind flanges. They are used with bolts to close the ends of pipes exposed to high pressure from water flow. That's why they are often considered one of the most stressful. Blind flanges can withstand high-pressure environments, while BS1560 snap flanges are suitable for low-pressure situations where media flow is internal.
